The house is located in the area 7 of Milan, the absolute greener area of Milan, with a lot of city parks and a good ratio between the built areas and green areas.
The main park in the area is Parco delle Cave which is 10 min walk from the house. The park, with an area of 135 acres and four lakes inside, is one of the bigger city parks in Europe. You can play any type of sport outdoors. It is safe because there are some cameras monitored by police 24 hours and some interphones for SOS calls. It is equipped by a 5 km race track used for athletic training of Stramilano, the most important running competion in Milan, two fields for bowling, two basketball courts, a soccer field and numerous picnic areas, facilities for gymnastics and fishing.
Finally, it is connected with a bridge, witch crosses the street via Novara, until the Parco Trenno near San Siro, while a bicycle path connects it to Bosco in Citta '. So three parks are integrated in one single huge green area..
But the park of the Cave is certainly not the only green oasis in the area, which is fully carpeted with small gardens managed by the Municipality. Just outside the house you can find a small little park with trees, leaf green, equipped with slides, altelene and games for children.
